Progetto AU.SPO. – A Rijeka il secondo transnational meeting
Nelle giornate di venerdì 10 e sabato 11 settembre si è svolto il secondo transnational meeting del progetto ‘Autism and Sport : Train Social Inclusion’, coordinato dall’ASD Running Matera e cofinanziato dalla Commissione Europea nell’ambito del programma Erasmus+ Sport. Nella bella Città di Rijeka (Croazia) gli otto partners hanno discusso delle fasi di avanzamento del progetto e delle attività programmate fino al 31 dicembre 2021. In particolare si è discusso dei risultati del corso di formazione online ‘Autism and Sport’ che ha visto la partecipazione di oltre 100 tra operatori socio sanitari e volontari sportivi rappresentando un primo caso in Europa di attività formativa specifica strutturata tra parte medico scientifica a cura della Fondazione Stella Maris Mediterraneo e parte tecnico-sportiva a carico della Federazione Italiana Sport Disabilità Intellettivo Relazionale (FISDIR).Inoltre abbiamo avuto modo di visitare il centro per l’autismo gestito da ACAP, partner locale del progetto , con le loro numerose attività rivolte a bambini con disturbo dello spettro autistico. Molto interessante è stato lo scambio di esperienze con gli operatori socio-sanitari croati e sulle metodiche di trattamento dei bambini con ASD. Non sono mancati gli incontri conviviali e la visita guidata al Centro Storico
Prossima tappa del progetto sarà il secondo meeting transnazionale che si svolgerà a Riga (Lettonia) il 24 e 25 settembre.

The second transnational meeting of the ‘Autism and Sport: Train Social Inclusion’ project took place on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 September, coordinated by ASD Running Matera and co-financed by the European Commission as part of the Erasmus + Sport program. In Rijeka (Croatia), the eight partners discussed the progress phases of the project and the activities scheduled until 31 December 2021. In particular, the results of the online training course ‘Autism and Sport’ were discussed, which saw the participation of over 100 between socio-health workers and sports volunteers representing a first case in Europe of specific training activity structured between the medical scientific part by the Stella Maris Mediterraneo Foundation and the technical-sporting part supported by the Italian Federation of Sport Disability Intellectual Relational (FISDIR). got to visit the autism center run by ACAP, a local partner of the project, with their many activities aimed at children with autism spectrum disorder. The exchange of experiences with Croatian social and health workers and on the methods of treating children with ASD was very interesting. There was no lack of convivial meetings and a guided tour of the old city.
The next stage of the project will be the rhird transnational meeting which will take place in Riga (Latvia) on 23 and 24 September.
